O Zone International Pet Expo Coming to Atlanta: Warm and Fuzzy Experience Promises Not to Disappoint

Tens of thousands are expected to converge upon the Atlanta metropolis May 5-7, 2023 for the O Zone International Pet Expo. Held at the Georgia International Convention Center (GICC), located at 2000 Convention Center Concourse in College Park, this unique experience for pet lovers and suppliers will be amazingly unforgettable. The expo will offer a plethora of attractions to include a pet fashion show, celebrity pop-ins, grooming competitions, onsite shopping from hundreds of vendors, home shopping network, free self-pet washing stations, pet education, a children’s station, and so much more. Attendees will also have the opportunity to have their photos taken with their pets in front of luxury cars, thanks to Dream Exotics, an event sponsor. “We are beyond elated to bring the O Zone International Pet Expo to the Atlanta area,” states Maria Lee-Driver, the event’s visionary. “We have something for everybody, and we’re not simply talking cats and dogs. The O Zone International Pet Expo really is more than an expo….it’s an experience.” Maria was inspired to host the event at the encouragement of Virginia-based pet enthusiast, Waldron “Tony” Lee, owner of Pet Zone in Gloucester and Yorktown. Lee also happens to be her cousin. “I would not have done this without him asking,” she adds. “Our mutual love for pets brings a lot to this arena.”

When it comes to all things pets and business, Maria Lee-Driver is no novice. The serial entrepreneur is the mastermind behind Fresh Mink PetsÔ, an all-natural pet deodorizing line featuring four products: pet perfume, moisturizing shampoo and conditioner as well as natural sage. In the summer of 2021, she received an invitation to attend SuperZoo in Las Vegas to display her line. In so doing, she made history as the only African American participant at the conference of 1,000 attendees. Maria later discovered she was the first African American to have a national line of pet products. Her business acumen caught the attention of Chewy.com, an online retailer of pet food and other pet-related products, who was so impressed that they offered her the opportunity to carry Fresh Mink PetsÔ products on their platform. Additionally, Lee-Driver has a track record of running several successful businesses for more than 30 years.
